US Office Staff
Kim Kargbo - President and CEO
Kim has lived nearly half of her life in a rural northern province of Sierra Leone, being raised there by missionary parents and serving as a missionary in various capacities during her adult life. From 1990-1993, Kim initiated an NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) called Community Health Evangelism promoting health education and disease prevention strategies in the rural northern province of Sierra Leone. This program continues to the present. From 1998-2002, Kim worked with World Hope International developing and managing a rehabilitation program for amputees following the decade-long civil war. She had an additional 4 years of experience in the US in public health program development and management. She served as a health trainer consultant for the United States Peace Corps for 2 years. Kim is compelled in ministry by the Voice behind her and the faces before her, who need to hear the Gospel in a way that is meaningful to them.
Kim, her husband Tim, and their 3 children currently live in northern Mississippi (outside of Memphis, TN) where she works in the headquarters office in Memphis and commutes to Sierra Leone throughout the year.
Kelsey Martin - Director of Partnerships and Advocacy
Kelsey has been gifted with the ability to personally identify with some of the challenges associated with disability because of the disability with which she was born. After working as an Employment Consultant, supporting people with developmental disabilities in finding gainful employment, Kelsey left her home in Seattle to work full-time for WOHInt. Kelsey is a passionate believer in the life transformation that Jesus Christ can provide, which compels her to action, both in her community in Memphis and across the world.One of the founders of Women of Hope International, Kelsey presently commutes between Sierra Leone and Memphis, TN.
Jen Jaudon - Director of Development and Marketing
Jen’s mission work in the developing world began a transformational career journey years ago, igniting a desire to serve others and devote her life to sharing Jesus’ love in a tangible way. Her passion for marginalized Muslim women led her to Women of Hope International where she uses her experience in strategic marketing planning and execution as well as developing and maintaining long-term partnerships to drive revenue and organizational growth. Consistently energized by creating value and brand awareness, Jen is excited to advance the mission, message and ministry of Women of Hope International.
Amy Hawkins - Office and Finance Manager
Amy is a pediatric nurse by profession and loves to organize, categorize and check boxes. She felt the Lord tugging her heart to meet the need for a bookkeeper for Women of Hope and committed to learn whatever she needed to in order to fill the position well. Amy has a heart for the Lord and for ministering the Gospel to women that helps them find their true identity in Christ and walk a journey of transformation through Him. Amy lives with her husband Rich and their 3 daughters in Hernando, MS.
Clarissa Sidhom - Communications Coordinator
Clarissa served couples as a wedding photographer for several years until God called her into ministry in 2013. Her degree in Communication and her background in graphic design allow her to help connect Women of Hope with supporters around the globe. She has a passion for helping women break free of their baggage and live "to the fullest" through Jesus Christ! Clarissa and her husband, Ryan, (and their furbabies) currently live in Vivian, Louisiana.
Sierra Leone Staff
Ruth Ada Kamara - Programme Manager
Ruth Ada Kamara was promoted to the position of Programme Manager in February 2011 after serving as the Field Officer for over a year. She spent several years working as a Community Awareness Officer for an Anti-Human Trafficking Program in Sierra Leone. Having come through a set of extremely difficult circumstances and then experiencing the saving and transforming power of Christ, her testimony brings hope and confidence to the women she serves. She has extensive experience working in the field, and particularly with women and girls with disabilities.
Wonder Wins George - Operations Officer
Wonder served as a volunteer for Women of Hope Sierra Leone for some time after discovering the ministry office while walking by one-day. Wonder is currrently a law student at the University of Makeni. She has a heart for women's ministry and seeing women come into a deeper understanding of their identity in Christ. Wonder's energetic spirit, dedication to learning and experience serving in ministry has made her an excellent addition to the Women of Hope team as she provides training, advocacy and support for women with disabilities and their families.
Hawa Munu - Programme Assistant
Hawa Munu was one of the first graduates of the Community Health Evangelism training, held in 2010. She is now assisting Wonder in training other women the principles of development, health, business and home life that she learned. Hawa has one lame leg and a severe limp. This does not keep her from an active life, however, or from setting an example in her community of how to live uprightly.
Adama Conteh- Project Facilitator
Adama Conteh is the part-time Project Facilitator for WOHInt. Stricken with blindness at a young age by measles, Adama has a strong desire to advocate for the rights of people with disabilities. She organizes disability awareness campaigns and women’s rights workshops for the betterment of women enrolled with Women of Hope and the community in general. Adama coordinates all meetings, events and activities for the ministry.
John Turay - Finance Officer
John brings a male voice to the office staff. His training in bookkeeping and accounting and his attention to detail are an asset to the program as a whole, maintaining a high level of integrity and accountability. John maintains the books for the office and the guesthouse and manages and monitors all of the bank accounts of the program on the field. John's sensitive heart and gentle spirit, along with his spiritual depth bring leadership and compassion to the program activities, providing the women we serve with a model of godly manhood that they don't often see.
Sidikie Sesay - Driver
Sidikie is the driver and all around helper at the office. His role in the program is vital as there is much field work to be done. The women's mobility challenges often make it necessary for follow-up to be done in their homes. Sidikie gets the staff to the women, and often transports women to the office for meetings and events. He also maintains the equipment at the office and runs errands for the staff.
Mohammed Kamara - Night Security Officer - Office
Mohammed is the Night Security Officer for the WOHInt office. He guards the facility during the night to ensure the safety of the property and the equipment of WOHInt.
Rebecca Kamara - Guesthouse Manager
Rebecca Kamara is the full-time Guesthouse Manager. She deftly maintains the house, caters for guests, does laundry and serves the staff with a solid devotion to Christ. Her warm welcome and attention to detail serves to generate income for the program as people stay in the Guesthouse. When US staff or board members are in Sierra Leone, she attends to all of their daily needs, allowing them to focus fully on the ministry to the women.
Edward King - Night Security Officer - Guesthouse
Eddie is the Night Security Officer for the WOHInt Guesthouse. He guards the house and guests who stay there and maintains the grounds of the compound.
Adama Bangura - Office Cleaner
Adama Bangura works part-time at the WOHSL office as the office cleaner. Adama is deaf and enjoys the companionship that she experiences at the office with the other staff members. Her cheerfulness and thoroughness bring a pleasant atmosphere to the office.
